Remote Wild River Lodge

Adventurous as comfortably as achievable.  

Fishing Alaska's designated Wild Rivers in national forests provides adventurers a true Alaskan bush experience.  The only way in or out is by bush plane.

Base camp will see anglers either in the large main building or pairing up in a modern cabin.   

Meals are served in the main lodge with an enjoyable mixture of recognizable fare with a delicious infusion of local flair.  

Evening relaxation is typically camp-style in the lodge or at the outdoor game area.

Other amenities include:

 3 meals a day prepared by the wonderful camp chef.  Plenty of protein and carbs to keep up your fishing stamina.

Snacks are loaded into the boat coolers each day.

Sodas, spring water and juice available.  

Electricity is via generator so any modern electronics can be charged easily.

Beer, wine or alcohol can be arranged.   

Private hot water showers in cabins.

Private water-fed porcelain toilets with a sanitary septic system.

In 2024 we will offer 2 different calendar blocks with availability now.  Cost for summer 2024 season is $8,999 pp.  This is all-inclusive with the exception of gratuities and fishing license.

Fishing in 2024 will target IGFA trophy sized arctic graying, leopard rainbow trout, sockeye salmon, pink salmon, silver salmon, chum salmon and an occasional king salmon.  Variety in the river will depend on migration timing.  

​

$8,999 is the full price including:

.All travel once you arrive in King Salmon Alaska including bush plane air taxi to lodge

.All meals

.All fish processing and packaging for air travel as checked luggage, or transport to seafood processor in Anchorage.

Not included:

Fishing license

Gratuities

Alcohol can be arranged.  

Alaska fishing season begins in June, as soon as the snow melts and begins to fill the rivers, and ends mid-September.

Trip Details

Expected Itinerary

Day One.  Arrive/depart King Salmon Alaska via bush plane to the lodge.  Relaxation afternoon and guest meeting.  

Day 2-7.  6 full days of morning-to-evening fishing, enjoying fellowship and stories from other anglers, feasting on local flavors, quiet cool nights and well needed rest.

Day 8. Departure via bush plant to King Salmon with consequent departure to Anchorage.

PLEASE understand, this is an adventure trip in rugged territory.  Unexpected events do occur--delays, changes in flights, flat tires.  Our agents and guides will work diligently to ensure your adventure is a life-time memory but please remember the powers above often make plans we cannot foresee.
